At DynoCams, we specialize in grinding. We are committed to provide our customers with industry leading grinding services that will meet, or exceed their requirements for precision, quality, and accuracy. Our two Landis 3L Camshaft Grinders produce unmatched accuracy, holding profiles to the 6th decimal place. These machines are equipped with special grade CBN grinding wheels that not only allow quick part turn around times, but also race ready finish right off the machine. The Landis grinders also have a programmable angle work head, which allows precise grinding of taper on the lobes.

Our Toyoda GU-4 Cylindrical Grinder has two wheels for O.D. and face grinding, and one for I.D. grinding applications. All three wheels can be programmed to different grinding angles for jobs that require a taper. It is also equipped with a locating touch probe for grinding critical faces and shoulders. When it comes to customer applications requiring tight tolerance O.D. and I.D. grinding, this machine holds accuracies better than plus or minus two ten-thousandths of an inch.

DynoCams also has several manual grinders for small engine applications.

DynoCams does not design lift data for automotive markets. Lift data is provided by the customer and held strictly confidential!

To complement our grinding capabilities, DynoCams has a complete CNC manufacturing facility capable of producing camshafts and racing components to a customers print. The Mori Seiki MT 2500 machine, allows us to specialize in complex parts requiring multi-axis milling and turning. This 9 axes machine gives us the ability to produce prototype or production parts for customers in less operations thus decreasing lead time and part cost. For jobs that do not require a mill/turn, we have a lathe equipped with live tooling and dual spindles, giving us versatility for different customer applications. Our mills have 4th and 5th axis capabilities to tackle any milling job we may encounter.

Part finish affects performance, which is why we offer two cutting edge technologies to achieve the best finish in the market. Applying one or both of these techniques will reduce component wear and increase the life of coatings.
